When dealing with a single item that is part of a box item, the math involved to calculate how many of the single item you need to order is slightly more complex as your Retail account needs to taking into consideration the Stock and Back Order quantities in boxes.įor example, let's say it takes 10 single items to make up a box, you have 0 stock of the box but you have 1 box on an Ordered purchase order. With single items, the math involved to calculate how much you need to order is quite straight forward.įor example, if you enter a reorder point of 5, a desired inventory level of 10 and you currently have 0 In Stock, and 0 Incoming, then your Retail account will automatically calculate that you need to order 10 of said item.
